Inspired by a women led revolution in Iran, artists have been creating paintings, drawings, posters, digital art, animation, videos, and short films around the theme of WOMAN LIFE FREEDOM.

Art crosses borders – and the art being made in solidarity with this movement has a universal resonance and global relevance.

ArtRise Collective brought together a group of cultural organizers, scholars and justice advocates to support public art projects that highlight the visual arts created during the first 90 days of this women-lead revolution with the intersection message of Woman Life Freedom and amplify the message of solidarity with the protestors. Curating art made within Iran and across its borders, we seek to make this art more broadly available to global publics who seek greater awareness of this historic moment. This public art project is a non-partisan transnational space, linking shared human experiences by nourishing creativity and hope.
